Chaldean Community Foundation (CCF) is a human services organization dedicated to uplifting the local Chaldean community in Michigan. After building a state-of-the-art facility, CCF wanted a user-friendly solution to unify its communications and enable seamless collaboration. The foundation chose Microsoft Teams as the platform and selected Apex Digital Solutions as its deployment partner. The deployment of Teams improved communication and collaboration, and the installation of five Microsoft Teams Rooms helped the nonprofit promote socially distanced meeting spaces for events, including fundraisers, classrooms, and mental health services.

Enhance collaboration for your hybrid workforce.

Empower your workforce to connect, collaborate, and communicate across boundaries with Teams Rooms.

Founded in 2006, CCF is the nonprofit arm of the Michigan-based Chaldean American Chamber of Commerce. Dedicated to advancing social, cultural heritage, and charity work in the local Chaldean community, the foundation serves more than 30,000 members of the Iraq-Chaldean and immigrant community each year.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CCF needed to enable seamless communication and collaboration for a hybrid workforce. Additionally, the nonprofit had recently built a state-of-the-art facility and wanted to ensure consistency in its meetings technology.

“By adopting Microsoft Teams, we were able to immediately move 50 percent of our workforce to a remote work environment, while continuing to service our clients without interruption.”

CCF turned to Apex Digital Solutions to deploy Microsoft Teams across the organization; install and configure four Microsoft Team Rooms at its new foundation facility and an additional room at the Chamber of Commerce building in Farmington Hills, MI.; and provide end-user training to ensure a positive experience with the solution.

Apex’s Ignite for Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms offerings provided CCF with an end-to-end solution that included procurement of the Teams Rooms systems, deployment planning and design, implementation, testing, deployment, and training.

“We have increased our number of clients served by 40 percent and are on track to serve about 50,000 people in 2021. This was made possible, in part, by Microsoft Teams due to improved internal processes and the enablement of an all-remote staff.”

The deployment of Microsoft Teams resulted in significantly improved communication and collaboration.

“We were able to immediately move 50 percent of our workforce to a remote work environment, while continuing to service our clients without interruption,” stated Paul Jonna, Chief Operating Officer at CCF.

Microsoft Teams Rooms helped improve internal workflows and enabled the foundation to promote socially distanced meeting spaces for events, meetings, classes, and mental health services.

“Microsoft Teams Rooms enabled socially distanced meeting spaces for foundation events—including internal meetings, fundraisers, classrooms, citizenship classes, mental health services, and more.”
