Southfield, MI. May 10, 2021 — Apex Digital Solutions today announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Jaime Waterfield, Chief Revenue Officer, and Cortnie Talbot, Vice President of Service Delivery, to the highly respected Women of the Channel list for 2021. Waterfield was also named to the 2021 Power 60 Solution Providers list, an elite subgroup of honorees chosen from the highly regarded Women of the Channel list.

The women honored on this year’s list pushed forward with comprehensive business plans, marketing initiatives and other innovative ideas to support their partners and customers, helping them through the uncertainty brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic. CRN celebrates these exceptional women for their leadership, dedication, and channel advocacy.

The Power 60 Solution Providers are chosen by the CRN editorial team based on their contributions, expertise, and dedication to building strong solution provider businesses. The award recognizes an exclusive subgroup of elite industry role models who continue to drive professional success through leadership and dedication to their own organizations and the entire IT channel.

Jaime Waterfield has over 20 years of experience in the Software industry spanning development, product marketing, product management, professional services, sales, and customer success. Jaime currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer at Apex Digital Solutions, where she leads the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams. Throughout all these roles, one constant has been her engagement with Microsoft and their partner ecosystem and navigating the go-to-market strategy with Microsoft to successfully partner and meet customer needs.

In the past 12 months, Jaime has led several go-to-market initiatives to bolster Apex’s brand, portfolio, and pipeline including: acceptance into exclusive partner programs for Meeting Rooms and Security, co-selling with Microsoft to drive Microsoft Teams adoption, and promotion of Apex’s offers through Microsoft’s marketplace for customers.

“I am honored to be recognized by CRN for my contributions to the channel and to my team at Apex,” said Jaime Waterfield, “We achieved strong growth this past year despite the challenges brought on by the pandemic in part due to tight alignment with Microsoft to help customers be more secure and productive in a remote work setting. I make it a priority to stay abreast of channel programs and maximize opportunities to strengthen our relationships and brand within the channel. Partnering with the channel is critical to our success in continuing to innovate our portfolio, evolve our skill sets, and expand into new customer geographies and industries.”

Cortnie Talbot has over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology field, and has worked through various roles including help desk, office management, and project management. She has been in her current role as Vice President of Service Delivery at Apex Digital Solutions for over 4 years.

In the past 12 months, Cortnie has helped advance Apex’s channel business by continuing to drive Apex’s world-class customer satisfaction scores, even given the changes in how the support team interacted with end users due to the effects of the pandemic. Additionally, she has developed skills with Power BI to make the data Apex operates with on a daily basis communicable and visual.

“It is an honor to be named to the 2021 Women of the Channel list,” said Talbot. “At Apex, we want to ensure that we are striving to hit our customers’ desired outcomes and empower them to make a positive difference with technology. I am proud to drive this purpose at Apex, and to do so especially during a time of unprecedented global change.”

“CRN’s 2021 Women of the Channel list acknowledges accomplished, influential women whose dedication, hard work, and leadership accelerate channel growth,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their many accomplishments and look forward to their continued contributions to the IT channel.”

The 2021 Women of the Channel and Power 60 Solution Provider award will be featured in CRN Magazine on May 10th and online at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
