Microsoft advanced specializations are validation of a partner’s capability to deliver high-fidelity services in a specific solution area. To receive the Advanced Specialization status, a partner must maintain Microsoft Gold Competency status, achieve key technology performance indicators and required performance thresholds, pass specific technical assessments, and provide customer references demonstrating successful delivery of services.
Microsoft Teams Calling was created to address the need businesses have for a modern voice solution and phone system capabilities that combines unified communication and teamwork. Because the implementation of these solutions can be complex and requires a highly specialized skillset, Microsoft launched the Microsoft Teams Calling advanced specialization.
This is the third advanced specialization designation that Apex has received, and the second in the year 2022. Apex recently announced that they received advanced specialization status for Microsoft Teams Meetings and Meeting Rooms and received the Advanced Specialization status for Adoption and Change Management in October 2020.
